In this work, I have combined scientific education about the nervous system with practical action steps with Magic and Medicine to take readers on a journey of nourishing themselves in wholeness. I share tender and magical lived experiences along with lessons learned from client work in a way that, I hope, ignites desire to sit down, have a cup of tea, and come home to yourself.

Why did I publish this work as an eBook rather than a printed book?

As a Human Design Projector with a defined Throat Center, I have lots of things to say. I am often sharing my hot takes, observations, and personal lessons and experiences, and this book is no different. Rather than waiting for a publisher to come along and offer a book deal, I chose to manifest this work NOW, trusting that, even without professional marketing and book tours, these words will reach those who need them most — those who are ready to deeply, wholly nourish themselves out of trauma and dysregulation and back to life.

This work came quickly and easily. The moment I sat down at my computer to create an outline for what I thought would be a group coaching program, the words just flowed. I realized this work was not meant to be a group program; it was meant to be a way for me to be in your hands as my words penetrate your heart, as something financially accessible, and as something you could re-visit any time.

Besides, when you work with a publisher, you often are required to edit out important parts because you’re under someone else’s guidance (and dollars). I’ve never been one to fit in a box, and writing and self-publishing Nourish Your Nervous System is no different. I’ll do things my way, or not at all.

My prayer is that you find validation, answers to questions, and above all, deep love in this particular work. And, may your nervous system be soothed and shored-up as you allow these words to osmose from your head to your body.
