The Conflict Playground
Step into a space where conflict is a game, your patterns are your playground, and repair is the medicine.
Do you…
- Notice yourself shutting down, exploding, or feeling the urge to just smooth things over in conflict — and wish you could do it differently?
- Find yourself stuck in the same relational loops over and over again? And again? (Same shit, different day, anyone?)
- Want to explore your conflict patterns without shame, in a playful, low-stakes way?
Then welcome to The Conflict Playground! This is not your regular sit-still-and-listen workshop. This is a hands-on playground where we make rupture and repair fun, illuminating, and even a little silly.
Your Playmates…
Now you might be thinking, “But who is this we? And why should I let them guide me through my patterns, my ruptures, and my repairs?”
Emma is a play coach who helps you explore your emotions with curiosity, creativity, and play. She guides people out of black-and-white shame spirals and into the full rainbow of emotional experience. With a mix of parts work, nervous system support, and a whole lot of co-play magic, Emma creates emotional playgrounds where you — and your inner silly goose — can explore whatever’s coming up with wonder, weirdness, and zero pressure to be “fixed.”
Lindsey is a trauma integrator, nervous system truth-teller, and relational witch who helps people alchemize conflict into connection. With her signature blend of clarity, directness, and deep compassion, she teaches rupture and repair as relational medicine. She’s the founder of Rooted Web, a global women’s community devoted to authenticity, reciprocity, and embodied relationship. As a Human Design Projector, Lindsey has a gift for making the hard stuff feel simple, grounded, and even a little playful — and for guiding people to recognize their own patterns without shame, reclaim their relational power, and weave repair into everyday life.
What is The Conflict Playground?
In this 2-hour experiential workshop, you will:
Discover your conflict patterns
Naming and getting to know your patterns helps you recognise when you are in them, which in turn, helps you get out of them! Are you a Defender, Peacemaker, Disappearer, Exploder, Deflector, Controller, Peacemaker, or Analyst?
Play with your patterns and nervous system in hilarious mock conflicts
We’ll stage small, absurd, and safe conflicts — think juice boxes, socks, lotion thieves, and spoiler incidents — where you get to practice your patterns on purpose and get gently activated in real time.
Experiment with repair and micro-shifts
Learn to notice your triggers, pause your automatic response, and add just a tiny, conscious “choice move.”
Take home playful tools and dares
Keep the practice going in your real life with our Conflict Dare Deck — mini challenges to stretch, notice, and repair your patterns after the workshop.
Why This Workshop Works
Conflict is a nervous system workout — it activates patterns you’ve been rehearsing your whole life. In The Conflict Playground:
- You practice without consequences — silly prompts make it safe to be seen, get it wrong, get curious, and get better at repair.
- You get actual embodied experience — you’ll feel the difference between autopilot and choice in your body. No solo homework required.
- You leave with repair strategies — mini-moves that feel doable in real life.
You have fun — because play = learning = nervous system regulation = long-lasting change.
Who This Is For
If you:
- Want to break old conflict patterns in a way that sticks.
- Enjoy workshops that aren’t lectures, but full of real-life knowledge and playful learning (don’t worry, you don’t have to do any role play at all if you don’t want to — consent is hot!)
- Are ready to notice how your nervous system responds to conflict without judgment, shame or the pressure to get it “right.”
- Want to fuck around and find out when it comes to relationships! Silly geese welcome.
