At the time I started doing this practice, I didn’t have a name for it. I just called it “being with my body’s sensations”. Then, in 2021, I read a book called The Way Out by Alan Gordon.
In this book, he describes a process called somatic tracking that he does with his chronic pain clients. As I read about somatic tracking, I couldn’t believe that he described the same process I called “being with my body’s sensations”!So, that’s what I’m talking about in this episode!
