Have you ever felt like your body is bracing for impact — constantly holding on to control, unsure of what’s safe, or what you can let go of? Trust Falls offer more than just a moment of surrender; they’re a profound somatic tool to repattern deeply held nervous system patterns.
Join me this January for a low-cost, experiential workshop where we’ll use trust falls to:
- rewire your nervous system to recognize safety in your body and relationships
- practice surrendering control without losing yourself
- learn how to share the load with others, releasing the tension and postures of “holding it all”
- build co-regulation and relational trust with a partner who supports and catches you — physically and emotionally
Why Trust Falls Work: The Science
Trauma and relational wounds are often stored in the body, creating patterns of bracing, hypervigilance, and over-control. These patterns live in the autonomic nervous system, which governs our survival responses: fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. Trust falls directly engage this system in a safe, structured way, offering new possibilities for regulation and connection.
Trust Falls:
- provide proprioceptive input & body awareness
- engage the ventral vagal system
- heal through relational safety & trust
- provide the safety & connection required for the nervous system to settle
- repattern somatic memories
This Workshop is For You If You:
- struggle with boundaries and carrying too much
- feel stuck in patterns of bracing, hypervigilance, or over-control
- want a somatic, body-based approach to healing that complements talk therapy, parts work, or EMDR
- are ready to experience co-regulation and relational trust in a safe, supported environment
Important: This workshop is experiential — meaning, we will actually be practicing trust falls during the workshop. If you plan to attend live, you MUST have a partner with you who wants to do this practice. A partner can be anyone you trust: a best friend, spouse or partner, sibling, cousin, gym buddy, or a safe co-worker.
You’ll leave this workshop with:
- a practical understanding of trust falls as a somatic practice.
- new tools for navigating relationships with safety and ease.
- a deeply rooted sense of safety in your body and nervous system.
Spaces are limited to ensure everyone receives personal support and guidance.
